Relationship Maps Help Us See How Everything Connects

Just like a road map give us a sense of direction and a path to follow, relationship maps orient us to where we are, where we've been and what might be lying ahead of usin the future.

PAST

Understand How Your Past and Family of Origin Impacts You

If you think about it, a map tells us where we've been and the journey we've made to get to where we are.

Our relationship maps help you make sense of the impact your family of origin, and previous relationships have had on you.

NOW

Find Pain Points Or Current Blocks and Create Solutions

A real map can tell us information about where we are, what's around us, and what's around us that might be important to know.

Relationship maps take into account your current situation and patterns of interacting that might require some help.

FUTURE

Identify Growth Points and Develop Plans For The Future

Google Maps can tell us about future events, how bad traffic is and what roads are closed. It gives us directions to navigate.

Our relationship maps are designed to identify future problems and blocks for you to act on now, before they escalate.

WHAT IS RELATIONSHIP MAPPING?

Many couples typically wait about six years before seeking help from a couples counselor.

Our Relationship Mapping Workshop is tailored to address this delay by helping you pinpoint challenges within your relationship. Relationship mapping is a therapeutic tool that visually represents a couple's history and current dynamics, offering a clear roadmap for areas requiring attention and potential growth.

In relationship mapping, we integrate each partner’s past experiences, family background, and relationship strategies with their present interactions. This understanding allows us to see how both partners relate to each other and to identify growth opportunities as well as foreseeable challenges.

Our team of therapists will guide you and your partner through a series of therapy sessions complemented by comprehensive assessments. This process involves evidence-based clinical assessments and interview techniques to accurately capture the current state of your relationship.

During these sessions, we will help you recognize patterns and issues that may have raised concerns. Additionally, we aim to highlight aspects of your relationship that may need more focus. By the end of our sessions, you will not only receive a detailed relationship map but also insights into potential areas for growth and aspects that deserve more attention in your relationship.
